Ben Giroux has booked and shot the first three episodes of The Lost Archives of Quincy ‘The Teacup’ Taylor, a new web series.  Giroux plays Quincy Taylor, the starring role, playing opposite of Andre Ware (Die Hard, Grey’s Anatomy) and rapper Coolio.  Directed by Desperate Housewives director Jay Torres, the show is produced by RDF USA and will be exclusively distributed by MySpace.

Ben Giroux has now joined the The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), the union representing professional actors, dancers, singers, and broadcasters.  Giroux is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild and Equity-eligible.

Giroux’s voice can now be heard on three running commercials across the country for McDonalds, Sonic, and Blimpie.

Ben Giroux has booked a new radio spot for Sonic: America’s Drive-In. The national hamburger franchise will feature Giroux’s voice on their latest commercial, coming soon to a radio near you!

Ben Giroux has signed with Peter Kluge at Impact Artists Group, LLC for personal management.  Kluge joins Giroux’s representation team of Marc Chancer from Origin Talent (Theatrical Rep), Richard Reiner from Commercials Unlimited (Commercial Rep), and Jeff Danis from DPN (Voice-Over Rep).

Ben Giroux will play Rashida Jones’ new boyfriend on The Farrelly Brother’s pilot episode of Fox’s mid-season comedy, UnHitched. The guest-starring episode will air during Fox primetime, Sunday March 2nd, 2008 at 9:30 pm ET/PT. Tune in!

Ben Giroux has been cast in a new independent film starring Brian Van Holt (Black Hawk Down, S.W.A.T., Windtalkers), Wee Man (Jackass), and Danny Trejo (Grindhouse, From Dusk Till Dawn, Anchorman). Production on The Dead Guy begins in mid-February and wraps at the end of March 2008.

Ben Giroux met Joan Howard Maurer, the daughter of The Three Stooges’ Moe Howard, at the 10th Annual Three Stooges Film Festival.  Giroux’s biggest comedic role models are the Stooges, and many of his performances have been modeled after the late comic geniuses.  Maurer has written several books about her father and appeared in some of the Stooges’ short films as a young girl.  The event took place at the famed Alex Theatre in Glendale, California.
